With the PGT Last Chance series now in the rearview mirror, the world’s elite poker players are already setting their sights on the next stops on the high buy-in circuit. Two major destinations are poised to dominate the coming months, as freshly announced schedules for the Onyx High Roller Series in Cyprus and the Triton Super High Roller Series in Jeju, South Korea, promise a packed calendar of big-money action.
The Onyx High Roller Series will run from January 30 to February 12, offering tournament buy-ins ranging from $10,000 up to $100,000, alongside the promise of high-stakes cash games. Shortly after, attention will shift to Jeju, where Triton’s marquee events take place from March 14 to April 1, featuring buy-ins from $20,000 all the way to $150,000 across No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Short Deck. Preceding the super high rollers, the Triton ONE series will cater to a broader field from March 5–15, with buy-ins spanning $2,000 to $15,000.
The Jeju stop also carries special significance, marking the 10th anniversary of the Triton Poker circuit.
Onyx High Roller Series: Cyprus at Center Stage
Hosted at the Merit Royal Diamond in Cyprus—a venue already familiar to Triton regulars—the Onyx High Roller Series will feature 15 tournaments in total. Six of those events come with $10,000 buy-ins, including both NLH and PLO openers, each boasting guaranteed prize pools of $2 million.
The schedule is anchored by several heavyweight events, including a $100,000 High Roller Championship, a $50,000 NLH Grand Slam, and $25,000 Main Events in both NLH and PLO, all carrying $5 million guarantees. That same guarantee applies to the $50,000 PLO Grand Slam, which will be split across two starting flights—one open to all players on February 8 and a second invite-only flight on February 7.
In addition to the marquee multi-day tournaments, players will have six single-day events to choose from, adding flexibility to an already ambitious schedule.
Triton Jeju: A Decade of High-Stakes Excellence
Jeju has played host to many of Triton’s most iconic moments over the past decade, and the upcoming festival looks set to continue that tradition with a schedule featuring 19 major high-stakes events.
The Super High Roller Series begins with three Short Deck tournaments from March 14–17, each two-day events with buy-ins of $25,000, $50,000, and $100,000. From there, a stretch of No-Limit Hold’em tournaments runs from March 16–27, highlighted by the $100,000 NLH Main Event (March 24–26) and the $150,000 NLH 10th Anniversary Special (March 26–27).
A $30,000 NLH/PLO Mixed event on March 27 serves as the transition point into a closing run of PLO tournaments. That final phase includes a $100,000 PLO Main Event, a $50,000 PLO Mystery Bounty, and concludes with a $30,000 Turbo Bounty Quattro.
Running alongside the early stages of the super high roller action is the Triton ONE series, which opens with a three-day $3,000 event from March 5–7 and builds toward the $15,000 Triton ONE High Roller from March 13–15. The Triton ONE schedule features 20 events in total, including the $8,000 Triton ONE Main Event from March 10–15.
With Cyprus and Jeju both offering stacked schedules and massive guarantees, the coming months promise a true high roller paradise, as the biggest names in poker chase seven-figure prize pools across two of the circuit’s most prestigious stops.
