Fitness influencer turned gambling content creator Shane Stoffer, better known as TOGI, made a splashy debut on Hustler Casino Live on Friday, stepping into a $25/$50 lineup that featured Alexandra and Andrea Botez, YouTuber Ethan Klein, Mariano Grandoli, and Los Angeles high-stakes regular Nik “Airball” Arcot.
True to form, TOGI delivered a rollercoaster session. His first few hours were marked by constant swings, with stacks moving rapidly in both directions. Roughly 20 minutes in, he found himself down just over $15,000. An hour later, he had flipped the script and was sitting on a $30,000 profit. Momentum continued to build as he surged past $40,000, his fearless, gamble-heavy approach seemingly holding up even against seasoned pros waiting for an opening.
But much like Icarus flying too close to the sun, TOGI’s aggressive wings eventually melted — and the heat came from none other than Airball.
A Costly Straddle Showdown
The pivotal hand began with TOGI posting a $600 straddle. Arcot, first to act, looked down at pocket aces and raised to $3,000. When the action folded back around, TOGI peeled his cards and saw a hand strong enough, in his mind, to apply maximum pressure.
“Are you ready to lose?” TOGI asked before moving all in.
Arcot didn’t hesitate, quietly sliding in the call.
Confidence drained quickly as the aces were revealed. With $51,900 in the middle, the players agreed to run a single board. TOGI found no salvation, and the board offered no surprises. The pot was shipped to Arcot.
Lightning Strikes Twice
About 30 minutes later, the two crossed paths again. Ohio David opened to $500, Randall Emmett called, and TOGI three-bet to $2,050. Action landed on Arcot in the straddle, where he once again found pocket rockets and bumped it up to $10,000.
The table cleared out, but TOGI wasn’t going anywhere. He shoved his remaining $31,425 into the middle. Arcot snap-called.
With $63,900 at stake, TOGI knew he was in trouble as the cards were revealed.
“That is disgusting,” he said. “Alright, big time sweat. We need a miracle.”
No miracle arrived. The board ran clean for the aces, and TOGI was stacked for the second time by the same opponent.
Despite taking the losses in stride, the back-to-back collisions were enough. TOGI soon racked up, ending his debut session down nearly $60,000.
It was a short but explosive appearance — one that showcased both the upside and danger of TOGI’s fearless style, and a clear reminder that no amount of fitness or confidence can outrun pocket aces.
