PokerStars Kicks Off 2026 Live League with Campione Open and €1M Main Event

After a record-breaking 2025, PokerStars returns to Italian shores with PokerStars Open Campione, running from January 23 to February 1 at the Casinò di Campione. The series will feature a full week of tournaments, highlighted by the €1,100 Main Event with a €1 million guaranteed prize pool, and will also serve as the launchpad for the 2026 PokerStars Live League.

2026 Schedule Highlights

Some of the key events to watch at Campione include:

  • €2,200 PokerStars Open High Roller – Jan 27–28

  • €1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event – Jan 28–Feb 1 (€1M GTD)

  • €550 PokerStars Open Second Chance – Jan 30–Feb 1

  • €5,000 PokerStars Open Super High Roller – Jan 31

  • €400 PokerStars Open Mystery Bounty Cup – Jan 31–Feb 1

The 2025 Campione festival marked PokerStars’ first return to Italy in six years, drawing 2,423 entries from 50 countries. Romanian Adrian-Sorel State captured the inaugural trophy and €363,000 for first place, setting a high bar for the 2026 edition.

Live League Launch

Campione also kicks off the 2026 PokerStars Live League, giving players their first opportunity to earn leaderboard points. Last year’s champions—Enrico Camosci (High), Gerard Rubiralta Cortes (Medium), and Steinn Thanh Du Karlsson (Low)—set the standard, but the Top 10 finishers in each category remain in contention for the year-long PokerStars ambassadorship.

Cédric Billot, Associate Director of Live Events Operations at PokerStars, said:

“The PokerStars Open tour enjoyed an outstanding season last year, with strong fields and fantastic energy from players at every stop, and Campione kicked off the tour with a record-breaking bang. The response from players was incredible, and we’re excited to start the new season by building on that momentum.”

With a mix of high-stakes action, leaderboard points, and international competition, Campione is set to start the PokerStars 2026 season with excitement and record-setting ambition.
