Patrik Antonius Headlines the $25K Onyx Main Event Final Table

All eyes will be on Patrik Antonius when play resumes Friday at the Onyx High Roller Series $25,000 Main Event final table, where nine contenders remain in Cyprus chasing a top prize of more than $1.15 million.

Antonius returns as the clear chip leader after an early double-up through Daniel Rezaei propelled him from the bottom of the counts to the top for good. He’ll be joined at the final table by a lineup stacked with international high-stakes talent, including Boris Kolev, Ottomar Ladva, Jessica Teusl, and several other accomplished pros.

The finalists are set to resume at 1:00 p.m. local time on Friday to play down to a champion.

A longtime fixture at the highest stakes, Antonius enters the finale with over $31 million in career earnings. He was last seen at WSOP Paradise, where he recorded three cashes and narrowly missed the final table of the Triton $125K. Here’s a closer look at the players still in contention.

Can Anyone Catch Patrik Antonius?

Patrik Antonius — 9,660,000 (81 BB)

Career earnings: $31,387,194

Antonius has been competing at the top level for more than two decades, dating back to a fourth-place finish in a €220 PLO event at the St. Maarten Open in 2003. By 2005, he was already making deep runs at the PCA, and later that same year he captured an EPT Main Event title.

Across his career, Antonius has posted seven seven-figure scores, including his largest payday to date—a $5.13 million win in the $210K Triton Invitational in November 2024. He spun up one of the shorter stacks into the chip lead on Thursday before casually jumping into a €200/€400 cash game later that night.

Geoffrey Mooney — 8,380,000 (70 BB)

Career earnings: $1,056,076

The Australian recently crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings following a productive trip to Cyprus, where he cashed five times during the WSOP Circuit stop. A sixth-place finish here would already lock up a new personal best, surpassing his €144K runner-up finish in the €10K at EPT Barcelona.

Boris Kolev — 7,500,000 (63 BB)

Career earnings: $6,383,385

Boris Kolev arrives at the final table riding serious momentum. The Bulgarian pro won back-to-back events at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock stop late last year, earning $226K in a $10K DeepStack before adding another $465K with a victory in the $25.5K High Roller.

A two-time WSOP bracelet winner, Kolev’s current best score stands at $1 million from a $10K at the Merit Poker Classic in April 2025—a mark he can surpass with a win on Friday.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau — 5,040,000 (42 BB)

Career earnings: $14,408,228

One of the most accomplished players in the field, Vaskaboinikau is back in Cyprus after four five-figure cashes at the WSOP Circuit stop in October. He’s no stranger to massive payouts, having recorded three seven-figure scores since November 2024, including a $4.7 million win in the Triton Montenegro Main Event.

Matthias Lipp — 4,920,000 (41 BB)

Career earnings: N/A

Matthias Lipp sits comfortably in the middle of the pack and brings a solid track record in Cyprus. His résumé includes a cash in the 2022 Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event, a final-table appearance in the $3K Mystery Bounty at EPT Cyprus in 2024, and deep runs in the Super Main Event in both 2024 and 2025.

Daniil Kiselev — 4,850,000 (40 BB)

Career earnings: $394,606

Kiselev has already secured a new career-best result after reaching the final 20 players, surpassing his previous high of eighth place in the 2024 Merit Poker Carmen Series Main Event. He also notched three cashes at the WSOP Circuit stop in October and has been active on the live circuit since 2015.

Ottomar Ladva — 4,265,000 (36 BB)

Career earnings: $4,245,037

Ladva is looking to build on a hot stretch that included three six-figure scores at the Brazilian Series of Poker, highlighted by a win and a runner-up finish in Super High Rollers. Two runner-up finishes at EPT Prague followed, and now he’s chasing a new career high in Cyprus.

His best score to date is a $486K win at EPT Barcelona in 2024—an amount he can surpass with a third-place finish or better.

Kirill Shcherbakov — 4,135,000 (34 BB)

Career earnings: $1,527,002

Shcherbakov’s current career-best result is a $680K runner-up finish in the 2024 Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event. Another second-place showing here would top that mark, adding $717K to his total. The Russian also claimed a $410K High Roller victory during the WSOP Circuit stop in October.

Jessica Teusl — 3,005,000 (25 BB)

Career earnings: $1,307,831

Teusl enjoyed a strong showing in Cyprus on her last visit, cashing three times and finishing for $200K in the Super High Roller Series Invitational. While she’s never posted a seven-figure score, that could change quickly—a fifth-place finish would already set a new personal best.

The Austrian pro owns a WSOP bracelet from the 2022 Ladies Event and has accumulated consistent five-figure results around the globe.
