Following a record-breaking 2025, PokerStars is set to launch its 2026 live events season with the highly anticipated return of PokerStars Open Campione. From January 23 to February 1, the Casinò di Campione will host a week packed with tournaments, highlighted by the €1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event, boasting a €1 million guaranteed prize pool. The festival will draw players from across Italy, Europe, and beyond.
This event also marks the official start of the 2026 PokerStars Live League, giving competitors an early chance to earn crucial leaderboard points.

The 2025 edition of PokerStars Open Campione marked the company’s first Italian festival in six years. The Main Event set a record for a standalone PokerStars festival in Italy, attracting 2,423 entries from 50 countries. Adrian-Sorel State of Romania emerged victorious, taking home the €363,000 first-place prize.
Campione also provides the season’s first opportunity to secure points in the 2026 PokerStars Live League. Following last year’s leaderboard champions—Enrico Camosci, Gerard Rubiralta Cortes, and Steinn Thanh Du Karlsson—players will be looking to start the year with strong results. While Camosci, Cortes, and Karlsson took the top spots on the High, Medium, and Low Leaderboards, respectively, all Top 10 finishers from each leaderboard remain contenders for year-long PokerStars ambassadorships.
