Yuri Dzivielevski Claims First PGT Title Amid Standout Week at Mixed Games Series

Yuri Dzivielevski is putting on a clinic at the PokerGO Studio.

The Brazilian mixed-game specialist delivered a breakout performance at the PGT Mixed Games series, capturing his first PokerGO Tour title before following it up with a runner-up finish the very next day. With the stakes climbing and the schedule building toward the $100,000 Super High Roller Bowl: Mixed Games, Dzivielevski has surged into the spotlight at exactly the right time.

Breakthrough in the Big Bet Mix

The five-time WSOP bracelet winner finally notched his maiden PGT victory in Event #5: the $15,200 Big Bet Mix. The tournament attracted 53 entries and awarded Dzivielevski $262,350 for the win.

Despite 29 prior PGT cashes and 14 final table appearances—six of which resulted in top-three finishes—the title had eluded him. That changed in emphatic fashion.

Play began Saturday before the studio’s customary Sunday break, leaving five contenders to return and battle it out. Dzivielevski faced a stacked lineup that included Sam Soverel, Matthew Wantman, Patrick Leonard, and Talal Shakerchi. After navigating the field, he squared off against Leonard heads-up in a lengthy duel that was ultimately decided in a PLO Hi-Lo hand. Dzivielevski made a Broadway straight to seal the victory and finally lift a PGT trophy.

Nearly Back-to-Back Titles

Fresh off his breakthrough, Dzivielevski wasted no time jumping into Event #6: the $15,800 Dealer’s Choice. The event drew 57 entries, and once again the Brazilian found himself in contention.

He bagged the chip lead among the final seven players and returned to face a formidable lineup featuring Chad Eveslage, Bryn Kenney, John Monnette, Qinghai Pan, and Dylan Weisman.

This time, however, the script flipped. Pan surged into the lead early on the final day and maintained control as the field thinned. By the time it reached heads-up play, Dzivielevski faced a daunting 10-to-1 chip deficit. Even in peak form, it proved too steep a climb, and Pan closed it out.

One Event Left

Only one tournament remains: the $25,300 10-Game Championship. Players will complete a set number of levels on Day 1 before returning for a live-streamed final table on Wednesday.

With momentum squarely on his side and confidence at a season high, Dzivielevski has already made this a defining week. Whether he can add another title to cap it off remains to be seen—but his message to the mixed-game field is clear: he’s locked in and dangerous.
